Filling Cracks in Doors and Trims

What You Need

• Selleys No More Cracks Doors & Trims
• Filling blade or scraper
• 240 grit sandpaper
• Dust mask
• Selleys Sugar Soap
• Clean cloth

Easy as..

1. Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust by wiping over with a damp cloth and Selleys Sugar Soap solution. If you have sensitive skin, use gloves while cleaning.
2. Wearing a dust mask, sand away any loose, chalky paint with the sandpaper. Sanding surfaces can generate fine particles. 
3. Once the area is clean, apply No More Cracks Doors Trims using the filling blade or scraper.
4. Use the blade or scraper to firmly press the filler into each crack. 
5. Scrape off any excess filler.
6. Allow to dry for 2-3 hours. Wearing the dust mask, lightly sand away any leftover excess with the sandpaper.

Handy Tips

• Exterior surfaces should be primed before filling.
• For best results, apply a water-based undercoat after any sanding.
