Not to be confused with our tiling adhesives, Selleys flooring adhesives are specifically designed for wood flooring, parquetry, strip flooring, and sheet timber. All Selleys flooring adhesives can be applied to concrete, particle board, and plywood. For use with existing strip flooring or FC (Fibre Cement) sheets, Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick LF, Liquid Nails FlexiStik, and Liquid Nails Timberflex Timber Flooring Adhesive are recommended. All cure within hours, and Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick even allows for sanding of floors the next day.

Being mindful of Australia's extreme temperatures, they stay easy to apply at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. But since they require atmospheric moisture to cure, they are intended for interior use only. And because they are all low VOC (volatile organic compound) formulas, they aren't harmful to you or the environment.

Even when using plywood or particle board between your timber overlay and the concrete floor, it is essential to protect the floor coverings from the transmission of moisture vapour. Selleys Liquid Nails VBS Epoxy Kit is a fast-curing vapour barrier that offers optimum bonding with all Selleys floor adhesives.
