A two-part water based epoxy kit consisting of a liquid hardener and resin that once combined, are rolled onto concrete floors to prevent the transmission of moisture vapour from the concrete to the timber floor.
Do not dilute if applying to Selleys Liquid Nails VBS/VBS Rapid or other non-porous surfaces.
Dilute 1:1 with water if applying to concrete or other porous surfaces.
VBS/VBS Rapid: VBS or VBS Rapid should be sufficiently cured across the whole job that they can be comfortably walked on without tackiness. For VBS, this will typically be overnight and a minimum of 2 hours for VBS rapid with good drying conditions.
Brush edges of room, then apply using a roller at 18 - 20m² per litre ensuring that a continuous film has been attained.
Concrete and screed: Dilute VP30 1:1 with water. Brush edges of room, then apply using a roller at approximately 10m² per litre. Ensure that a film is present on the surface after application to optimise adhesion of self-levelling screed or VBS/VBS Rapid.
Primer must have dried clear over the entire job and be able to be walked on without tackiness before the self-levelling compound is poured.
Good ventilation of the space will speed up the rate of cure of VP30.
