Selleys Liquid Nails Exterior is a high-performance construction adhesive specifically designed for outdoor use. It can withstand heat, water and UV. Mechanical fasteners can be removed after 4 hours, and the bond will not crack or go brittle over time. Its formulation is solvent-free and allows for easy water clean-up.

How to Use
- Ensure surfaces are clean and free from grease or loose particles. Wip off any pooled water from wet surfaces.
- Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut to desired opening (5mm).
- Apply bead along length of joist, stud or batten. On broad flat surfaces, apply beads every 40cm.
- Position pieces and press firmly together. fix with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over total bond area. Repositionable for up to 25 mins after fitting.
- Allow adhesive to set (minimum 4 hours*) before removing any temporary fasteners or clamping. Use with mechanical fasteners in high stress applications. Protect from rain until cured.
*For porous surfaces: expect longer cure times in cold or humid weather and on less porous surfaces.
Limitations
- Not suitable for use on PFTE, PE or PP.
Handy tips
- Pre-test in an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility with materials.
Clean Up
- Wet: Warm soapy water or damp cloth
- Dry: Scraper or sandpaper
